I will be giving a talk at the Wader Quest – “Inspiration of Waders” day on 27th October at Cley Marshes visitor centre , Norfolk. I’ve always loved waders from when I was a small boy, so come along, be inspired while helping and supporting Wader Quest.
Wader Quest has two main aims; to raise funds to support wader conservation and to raise awareness about the problems waders are facing across the world. They support and help a number of excellent projects that you can see by clicking here.
“To promote, for the benefit of the public, the conservation and protection of waders or shorebirds and improvements of their physical and natural habitats. To advance the education of the public regarding the conservation and protection of waders or shorebirds and their natural habitats. We aim to demonstrate that waders are not just worth saving for the sake of saving them, but that they are an integral part of our ecosystem and that their wellbeing and future are linked to the wellbeing and future of all life forms on this planet, including our own.”
