With the start of autumn now upon us, there has been a real change in the weather over the past few days. This will hopefully bring on the deer rut soon with these incredible mammals.
Over the last several years I have been photographing the wild Red Deer that are found on the moors of the Peak District National Park.
These wild Red Deer are more challenging to photograph than their counterparts that can be found in deer parks.
With fieldcraft, respect and subject knowledge though it is possible to get some beautiful encounters with our largest land mammal in the Peak District National Park.
I am really looking forward to working with these beautiful Red Deer over the coming weeks.
If you would like to join me on one of my wild Red Deer, one day workshops then see this link for all the details and dates, many thanks.
