Connecting people with nature, that is what I do. I dont care what awards you have won or how many followers or likes you have. How you treat nature tells me all I need to know about you.
As a photographer I try to inspire people by showing them things they may never get chance to see. If people care then things can and do change for the better.
Within that message I always try and capture natural behaviour and show where a certain species lives and goes about their lives. Again this is very important to the general public so they understand it’s not just us that live on this planet.
These images show Golden Plovers taken in hi key and a female Marsh Harrier diving for something she had seen in the reeds. A mixture of luck, right timing, good camera focus and an understanding of behaviour.
Hi key is a beautiful way to capture what you see and it’s something ive always loved to do from the very start of my career. I wrote more about this style of photography on a blog post you can read by clicking here.
All these images were taken on a recent trip to Norfolk where both of these species of birds are doing really well.
