The Dippers in the Peak District have been incredibly active over the last few weeks, they are normally early nesters and have two broods per year but with this month’s glorious weather giving the feeling its summer it seems to have spurred the Dippers on even more and they are already mating and checking out nest sites and building new ones.
With the extra activity it’s been a brilliant few weeks of Dippers of the Dales workshops with clients. These birds are one of my favourite and it’s always a great pleasure for me to pass my passion and knowledge of this bird to the clients that book onto these days. As well as taking clients to my Dipper sites I’ve also been working there myself on my own work and continue to as the mating season is just starting to kick in.
My aim on all of my workshops and one to ones I do is to get the very best images of the chosen subject for my client. Alot of the time this can be tough though as working with wild creatures you just don’t know what will happen and turn up. So it’s always brilliant when clients get some lovely images and learn more.
Along with my Dipper workshops and one to ones I’ve also been really busy with my Brown Hares workshops that are just starting. The action is just heating up and I have many dates booked over the next month or so. Here are a few images taken alongside my clients.
I’d like to thank everyone of my clients who had booked onto one of these workshops and one to ones over the last few weeks. Its been amazing for me to show you these special species. If you’d like to book onto one of these days or any of my workshops, photo tours that I run myself then please see this link for more details, many thanks.
